Dhapasi Youth Club
Dhapasi Youth club provides a platform for the youths in Dhapasi area to come together, meet, discuss and plan activities for their own development as well as that of the society. The Youth Club themselves develop need based programmes and resources for conducting the programmes that will be raised by themselves. They have organized activities on sanitation, tree plantation, and blood donation. They are now focusing on eye donation.
Bagmati Cleaning Campaign
Although being a part of cultural and religious heritage, the activities of dumping of raw solid wastes and discharging of untreated liquid wastes in Bagmati River has made an assault on its sanctity. In order to curb further environmental degradation of the Bagmati River and adjoining area as well as to restore the condition of once pristine Bagmati River, the Volunteer foundation Nepal is working to Public awareness Programme and cleans Bagmati River. Our Volunteer is fully devoted and committed to keep Bagmati River clean with the support of local peoples.
Everest Cleaning Campaign
The program has been instrumental to encourage various cleaning campaigns on the Everest then after. Some prominent campaigns include Eco Everest expedition in 2008, which brought down 13,500 kilos of garbage consisting 400 kilos of human waste that takes decades to decompose at high altitude temperatures.
